Participation Agreement

By signing this form, I confirm that I understand and agree to the following:

BMX riding is an action sport and involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury.

I understand that participation in Drop-Inn BMX Club sessions is voluntary and undertaken at my own risk (or on behalf of my child).

I confirm that the participant is fit and well enough to take part in BMX activities.

A correctly fitted helmet must be worn at all times while riding. Riders will not be permitted to take part without one.  Knee pads, elbow pads and other protective equipment are strongly recommended but are the responsibility of the rider or parent/guardian to provide.

Parents or guardians of children aged 14 and under must remain on site for the duration of the session.

I understand that Drop-Inn BMX Club, Stoke Park, its coaches, volunteers and organisers cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss or damage sustained during participation, except where caused by negligence.

I understand that coaches may refuse participation if they believe equipment is unsafe or behaviour puts the rider or others at risk.

I agree to follow all instructions given by coaches and volunteers and to treat other riders, coaches and members of the public with respect.

Emergency Medical Treatment

In the event of an accident or medical emergency, I authorise Drop-Inn BMX Club coaches or volunteers to seek appropriate medical treatment if I cannot be contacted immediately.

From time to time, Drop-In BMX Club and Stoke Park may take photographs and videos during coaching sessions, events and activities.


These images and videos may be used to promote the club and our community through:

  • Our website

  • Printed marketing materials

  • Funding, sponsorship and grant applications

  • Press and promotional content
